🧄✨ Mrs. Clay’s Stuffed Hawaiian Garlic Rolls ✨🧄

The Perfect Side for Spaghetti Night

Tonight I made something special to go alongside our spaghetti — warm, buttery Stuffed Hawaiian Garlic Rolls filled with melty cheese and brushed with a golden garlic-herb butter. They turned out so cozy, so delicious, and so easy that I knew I needed to write them down for you.

They bake up with the soft sweetness of Hawaiian rolls, pockets of gooey mozzarella and Parmesan, and a garlicky, herby top that smells like an Italian restaurant the moment you open the oven door. Truly the perfect quick dinner side.

🧀 Ingredients

For the Cheese Filling

  • 1 pack Hawaiian rolls
  • Mozzarella, shredded
  • Fresh Parmesan, shredded
  • A sprinkle of garlic powder
  • A sprinkle of Italian seasoning

For the Garlic Butter

  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • Garlic salt, to taste
  • Parsley
  • Italian seasoning

🍽️ Instructions

1. Prep the Rolls

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Leave the rolls attached.
  3. Using a sharp knife, make two rows of slits across the top of each roll — deep enough to tuck cheese inside, but not all the way through.

2. Stuff the Filling

  1. In a bowl, mix mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Gently stuff the cheese mixture into each slit. (Be generous — the more cheese, the better!)

3. Make the Garlic Butter

  1. Stir together melted butter, minced garlic, garlic salt, parsley, and Italian seasoning.

4. Assemble + Bake

  1. Brush the garlic butter mixture all over the tops of the rolls.
  2. Lightly cover the edges with foil so they don’t over-brown.
  3. Bake at 400°F for about 12 minutes, or until golden, melty, and fragrant.

✨ Serve

Serve warm with spaghetti, lasagna, soup, salad, or as a cozy snack all on its own. The cheese pulls are unbelievable!
